Assists in the Mobilization of drilling equipment as directed.
Ability to overhaul fluid end of mud pumps w/o supervision.
Thorough knowledge of tripping pipe on all company-owned rigs.
Ability to operate all company-owned forklifts, vehicles drilling rigs, tools, and pipe sizes.
Use of cutting torch and basic welding skills.
Knowledge of Blow out procedures.
Ability to operate tuggers and sampling winches.
Assists Driller in drilling operations of the rig by mixing mud, handling drill pipe, casing, and other equipment.
Performs and assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area as directed.
Engages in other related activities and special projects as may be required or assigned.
The employee will experience as much as if not more than 60% of field time. Some projects require the employee to be in the field in excess of 60 days on one tour.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Industry-related experience is preferred, but not required.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, in accordance with Company and DOT policies.
Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
Possess good mechanical and technical aptitude.
Have 0 - 12 months be equipment-oriented and understand the mechanics of drilling machinery.
Good communication skills, including verbal, written, and basic math skills.
