- Plan and execute geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling and field testing.
- Analyze subsurface conditions using lab and field data to assess soil, rock, and groundwater behavior.
- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports with recommendations for foundations, slope stability, earthworks, and more.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical insights into design solutions.
- Utilize geotechnical software (e.g.,PLAXIS,GeoStudio) for modeling and analysis.
- Provide on-site support during construction to ensure adherence to geotechnical recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree inCivil Engineering,Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE)license or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
- Minimum3 yearsof geotechnical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis tools andCAD software.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation systems, and earthworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical findings clearly.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently and within a team.
- Hands-on experience withmaterial testing,geotechnical instrumentation, andfield investigations.
- Familiarity with concrete behavior and subsurface exploration techniques.
- Experience working on transportation, commercial, or public infrastructure projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.86/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
