      Position Summary: As an ENGEO Staff Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of project scopes, types, and technical challenges. You will be supported to take on responsibility quickly and encouraged to build technical skills, project management, and business development soft skills.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      1. Perform site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis.
      2. Perform numerical modeling using finite-element methods as implemented in PLAXIS.
      3. Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundations.
      4. Perform settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluations.
      5. Develop geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for the construction of private and public projects.
      6. Support field activities including exploratory logging, observation of deep foundation construction, shoring, grading operations, and other geotechnically relevant construction.
      7. Complete field, analytical, and project administrative tasks with guidance from peers and leadership.
      8. Learn increasingly complex, non-routine tasks with review and oversight from senior staff.

      Requirements:

      Our Ideal Candidate:

      1. 1-3 years of relevant professional or field experience.
      2. E.I.T certification.
      3. Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and soil mechanics.
      4. A team player who enjoys problem-solving and working in fast-paced environments.

      6. Desire to continually learn and grow.
      7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
      8. Driven to exceed in client service.

      All Candidate Requirements:

      1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
      2. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with numerical modeling, seismic hazard analysis, and GIS is a plus.
      3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment.
      4. Ability to work effectively both independently in the field and as part of a team.
      5. Personal vehicle for site visits.
