      Getty Marrow Education and Public Programs Internship

      The Getty Marrow internship in the Education and Public Programs department will provide an opportunity to engage in a broad range of LACMA’s public programs for various audiences. The intern will have a chance to learn to develop and assist with the implementation of LACMA's public programs, including but not limited to talks, hands-on workshops, and digital content. Additionally, the Intern will demonstrate familiarity with exhibition content and work with public programs on gallery-related materials and programs.


      This is a paid 10-week full-time internship (40 hrs/wk) beginning in June 2024 with a working schedule of Monday–Friday from 9 am–6 pm at $16.78/hour.


      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Excellent computer and communication skills required

      • Art knowledge or experience preferred

      • Be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in either a bachelor’s degree program or an associate’s degree program. Students must have completed at least one semester or two quarters of college by June. Students who graduated the semester or quarter immediately before the internship begins are also eligible. (Students who are enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.)

      • Attend college in or be a permanent resident of LA County.

      • Be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or DACA status through the internship period.
