      Position Overview

      Giants Baseball Camps is hiring a Site Director for summer youth baseball and softball camps across the Bay Area. We seek energetic, positive leaders who inspire youth to make good choices, be accountable, and have fun. We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide leadership to ensure campers enjoy a rewarding experience, develop skills, and foster a love for the game and personal accountability.

      Candidate Requirements

      • Experienced leader, self-starter, excellent communicator
      • Passionate about positively impacting children and community
      • Experience working with children aged 4-13
      • High school level or higher baseball/softball experience
      • Passion for teaching and leadership
      • Ability to connect with children individually and in groups
      • Aware of safety and capable of problem-solving
      • Lead by example with integrity and positivity
      • Dependable and reliable
      • Provide constructive feedback and foster growth
      • Have fun!

      Core Responsibilities

      • Ensure a safe environment for campers
      • Manage and motivate campers daily
      • Implement Giants Camps curriculum under supervision
      • Provide feedback during drills and games
      • Highlight learning moments
      • Collaborate with team members to uphold reputation

      Qualifications

      • Availability for 10-week commitment, Monday-Friday, approx. 8 hours/day
      • Reliable transportation to sites
      • Pass background screening
      • Proven leadership skills
      • Ability to operate a rented cargo van safely
      • Basic baseball fundamentals knowledge
      • At least one year managing groups
      • Ready to have fun and stay relaxed

      • Napa - Justin-Siena High School
      • Los Altos Hills - Purissima Park
      • Burlingame - Bayside Park
      • San Jose - Herman Intermediate School
      • Foster City - Sea Cloud Park
      • San Francisco - Crocker Amazon

      Interview Process

      1. Receive invitation for a one-way interview
      2. Complete a 15-minute virtual interview with the Camps Director
      3. Complete a 20-minute virtual interview with the Executive Director
      4. Final decision

      Compensation

      Weekly pay ranges from $1,320 to $1,500, based on experience and skills.
