What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in producing demographic reports and data analytics
- Create static mapping visualizations and run templated reports
- Organize and complete assigned tasks within a reasonable timeframe
- Learn and apply core ESRI ArcGIS toolkit applications, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Online
- Support day-to-day operations and deliverables under the guidance of senior team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Introductory knowledge of static GIS concepts and data management
- Basic understanding of ESRI ArcGIS toolkit applications
- Familiarity with scripting and coding concepts, including Python and Javascript
- Ability to evaluate data and services as assigned by senior members
- Must be punctual and available for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or coursework in GIS or a related field
- Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs)
- Knowledge of request intake processes and administration of proprietary systems
- Understanding of data mining and manipulation techniques
- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Salesforce
