      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze and manipulate data to generate reports, maps, and technical documents for various City departments and the public
      - Maintain data quality by executing quality control and quality assurance measures
      - Collect sub-meter GPS data for various assets and utilize coding languages to maintain and develop web applications
      - Communicate GIS concepts to users and provide training and support
      - Identify outreach opportunities and develop GIS presentations to engage the community

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Minimum of 3 years of GIS experience, including data collection, ArcGIS, and GIS application development
      - Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS for Server, and Python preferred
      - Valid driver's license and good driving record
      - Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Graduate Certificate in GIS technology from an accredited university or college
      - GIS Professional (GISP) certification from the GIS Certification Institute
      - Experience in project management, particularly in Public Works
      - Ability to pilot an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in accordance with FAA regulations
      - Familiarity with Cartegraph Asset and Work Management application
