      Title: GIS Analyst

      Division: GIS – Land Development

      LJA is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to support our GIS Team in the Dallas or McKinney offices. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the GIS field and proficiency in ArcGIS Pro.

      Job Description

      1. Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze, manage, and visualize data.
      2. Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in data sets.
      3. Assist with the maintenance of GIS databases.
      4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate GIS into the planning and decision-making processes.
      5. Generate maps to communicate findings and support project initiatives.
      6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in GIS.

      Qualifications:

      1. Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
      2. Minimum 2 years of experience working with GIS software with proficiency in ArcGIS Pro.
      3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data.
      4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
      5. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
      6. Strong understanding of engineering principles and natural resource management concepts is a plus.
      7. Experience with programming languages is a plus.
