What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage client communication and deliverables throughout project lifecycle
- Supervise GIS Analysts and Interns, providing technical coaching and training
- Conduct data acquisition, review, processing, and analysis using GIS software and Python scripting
- Create custom datasets and perform spatial analysis across multiple platforms
- Draft proposals, marketing materials, and external communications
- Comply with internal quality control and risk management guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of related professional experience
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcPro software and Python scripting
- Experience with data transformation, summarization, and analysis in Python and Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Public Trust security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- GIS Professional certification
- Master's degree in Geographic Information Science or related field
- Prior professional experience in property insurance and/or catastrophe risk assessment
