      Performs technical work in the development and maintenance of complex databases, the analysis of data, and the graphic representation of data using geographic information systems in the Clerk & Treasurer’s Office.
      Updates and maintains complex databases using geographic information software (ArcGIS Pro). C ollects geospatial data by researching electronic land records. Identifies and classifies legal documents for geographic representation. Reads and interprets legal descriptions, maps, plats, and other GIS-related source material. Maps and edits parcels and data in GIS to reflect subdivisions, land surveys, and recorded deeds. Develops graphic representations of geospatial data including maps, charts and other graphic information displays as requested. Reviews and evaluates data to ensure accuracy.
      Requires acceptance or enrollment in an accredited school, college or university. Degree paths best suited to this position are Geography, GIS, Cartography or closely related field. Requires experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Requires experience with PC related graphics, data research and electronic database software and its manipulation.
      Works primarily in an office setting seated at a computer workstation or teleworks. May be required to attend meetings locally.
