      International GIS professional

      Are you a proficient user of ESRI technology? Does the thought of applying your skills to satellite images and remote sensing data motivate you? Do you thrive in an international working environment focussing on Copernicus satellite data? If so, then we may have a match.

      In this position at SYSTRA Danmark, you will work with the European Environment Agency on the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) program. The work will be based on ESRI technology and we are seeking professionals with competencies within one or more of the following areas:

      • Proven experience in working with ArcGIS and ArcGIS server products and its APIs;
      • Geospatial analysis using GIS;
      • Proven experience in scripting;
      • Proven experience in publishing OGC compliant web-services (WMS, WMS-T, WFS, CSW);

      Further knowledge of the following would be desirable

      • big data cloud storage and processing, with regards to remote processing techniques based on WPS;
      • the Copernicus Data and Information Access Services (DIAS);

      The focus is on assessing the quality of the deliverables. Thus, spatial analysis techniques are called for to manipulate and analyse geographic data. In this process programming/scripting skills within e.g. python, C# or java are highly valued. Experience with ESRI technology is a must.
