      Job Description:

      Within this role, resource will be focused on providing hands-on, follow the sun, technical operational support for commercial and custom software applications supporting the GIS SIEM/SOAR technology. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key individual contributor, responsible for supporting information security technologies with a focus on Microsoft and Linux environments. The primary duties include leveraging in-depth technical knowledge to manage and enhance both vendor and internally developed applications. Just as important as technical experience will be the ability to connect and work with people. A positive team atmosphere is very important to us so we are looking for people who can collaborate well. The role involves interaction with Business stakeholders as well as others. Technical teams globally across the company, so we are looking for excellent relationship building and communication skills.

      Responsibilities:

      • Leads production support triage efforts, manages bridge line troubleshooting, engages in technical research, and escalates issues to leadership as needed

      • Ensures all impacts are accurately recorded and documented in the system of record, oversees that documents and wikis are updated and available for use during triage, and supports the documentation of application flows, upstream/downstream impacts during outages, the customer experience, and contacts for support needs

      • Identifies and/or validates business impacts through interpretation of monitors, dashboards, and logs to communicate with leadership and vendors

      • Manages activities to identify incident root cause, resolution, preventative actions, and change requests, and reports on incident data quality

      • Promotes and enforces production governance during triage/testing and identifies production failure scenarios, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement

      • Serves as a subject matter expert for applications within a portfolio, leveraging extensive knowledge of application functionalities and application flows

      • Assesses and prioritizes research requests, ad hoc reports, and offline incidents at the direction of senior team members and delegates work as needed to team members and peers

      Required Qualification :

      • In depth knowledge of Windows systems

      • Highly proficient with Container technology

      • Strong understanding of Linux operating system .

      • Hands on experience with identity management system

      • Highly skilled in database management with expertise in Oracle SQL

      • Highly proficient with Information Security applications

      Desired Qualification:

      • Experience of monitoring technologies

      • Experience of tech tools, e.g. Splunk, Horizon, Ansible

      • Tower, BladeLogic

      • Strong understanding of network technologies

      • Strong understanding of risk and its integration into threat modelling

      • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking

      • Applications production support experience and knowledge/experience with container technology
