What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Update Land Use/Land Cover data
- Work with elevation data derived from LiDAR
- Quality assurance of orthophotos
- Develop flood risk products and perform flood risk assessments
- Ensure graphical and technical accuracy of project deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program, Geography or GIS degrees preferred
- Knowledge and experience in GIS applications (ArcGIS 9 or higher)
- Strong oral, people, and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ESRI ArcGIS Skillsets
- Knowledge of LiDAR, Digital elevation models, Orthoimagery
- Knowledge of Land Use/Land Cover, Wetlands, and Benthic habitats
