- Drives strong partnerships across the organization
- Sets the Global Real Estate vision and strategy
- Aligns talent and team structure for effective execution
- Builds holistic understanding of Global Real Estate strategies that require support from key ELT/SLT leaders, internal matrix partners, and external suppliers
- Works closely with the HR and Tech leadership to understand and deliver on prioritized activities and goals to ensure planning, execution, adoption, and reporting strategies for related areas of responsibility
- Partners and manages relationships with line of business leaders to understand their business strategies and objectives in order to align and provide insights on impacts
- Makes critical decisions in areas where the team needs direction (i.e. real estate negotiations, lease terms, project delivery, difficult customers, conflicts with policy and procedures, overall conflict management, vendor relationship management, M&A activities, etc.)
- Manages and inspires a diverse group of individuals to support our customers by meeting and/or exceeding their business requirements in areas of global real estate and food services
- Owns key enterprise deliverables for initiatives/projects including strategic roadmaps, objectives and opportunity analysis, where applicable
- Establishes and drives the key partnerships and vendor relationships to deliver on corporate strategy
- Inspires, develops and effectively manages individuals and teams to support career development and deliver on results
- Bachelor’s degree required, post graduate degree or professional certifications (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Global Real Estate in a corporate environment. Specifically, experience with significant construction commitments leading facilities, physical construction and space strategies
- Senior leadership level oral, written presentation and communication skills
- Strong executive presence with a track record of effectively engaging with a broad range of high level stakeholders
- Demonstrated P&L management
- Demonstrated influence within complex, highly matrixed, innovative and evolving cultures
- Leadership experience with proven ability to attract exceptional talent and develop effective teams
- Ability to travel 30-40%, including 2-3 international trips annually

This role will have oversight of our Global Real Estate portfolio, site strategy and vendor relationships. Total global portfolio consists of over 220 sites exceeding 10M square feet including offices, clinics, pharmacies, and data centers. Leads the corporate strategy around workplace planning and strategy. Manages teams inclusive of facilities management, project management, lease transactions, audit, food services, data analytics, sustainability, financial management and international portfolio management. Responsible for managing relationships at the senior leadership level across the organization and fostering partnerships in a highly matrixed organization. Deep partnership with Technology and Human Resource functions to keep pace with our changing employee experience needs. Focuses on continuous improvement and strategic roadmaps for future planning of all global Cigna Group sites.
