What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate global and regional deals with travel service providers including hotels, airlines, and car rental companies
- Redesign the corporate travel policy to meet modern business needs and ensure compliance
- Manage supplier relationships and performance across various travel categories
- Drive reporting, analytics, and insights to enhance travel operations and impact the company's bottom line
- Own and optimize the travel operations technology stack for user effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, travel programs, or both
- Proven ability to present travel metrics and savings to C-suite leaders
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts and SLAs
- Experience operating in regulated environments with knowledge of legal and compliance requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience negotiating with and managing various travel partners
- Familiarity with developing global supplier frameworks and governance models
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent professional certification
- Knowledge of procurement systems and performance analytics tools
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
