      Job Description

      MSK is seeking a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Coordinator II to join the central GME team. The GME Coordinator is responsible for administrative, education/training activities, and information management for our clinical education programs.

      You Are:

      • An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and implementing communications based on that understanding

      You Will:

      • Answer questions from prospective applicants, review applications and recommend candidates for appointment based on a checklist of requirements
      • Prepare registration materials and onboard new visiting trainees with respect to orientation, MSK systems, paperwork, and required training modules
      • Collaborate with internal departments and external groups, e.g., other hospitals in connection with rotating/joint programs to confirm monthly schedule of trainee arrivals
      • Complete basic training verifications of former physicians-in-training
      • Support the GME Office’s key administrative functions including answering telephone inquiries and ordering supplies for the office

      You have:

      • Familiarity with hospital/health care environment and/or graduate education, GME experience strongly preferred!
      • Familiarity with software tools, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email/Calendars; ability to navigate internet/web!
      • Experience in working in a team environment!
