      Nestled on the shores of Lake Lanier lies Lanier Island Resort – an island destination spread out across 1200 acres unlike any resort in Georgia. Our property features 282 guest rooms, indoor/outdoor meeting spaces, golf course, multiple dining options, nature trails, and other points of interest.

      Legacy Lodge at Lanier Islands boasts 282 guest rooms, 22,000 sq ft of event space, and 2 restaurants.

      Overview

      • Operates powered mowing equipment and small hand tools
      • Course set-up
      • Performs all the following tasks, including but not limited to, mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, raking bunkers, weed eating, fly mowing, edging, sweeping, backpack blowing, shoveling, trimming and hauling plant material
      • Removes and lays sod, seeds, fertilizes and top dresses
      • Assist with construction projects requiring manual labor

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

      Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.       • Must be at least 18 years of age
      • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) for three years

      Education and/or Experience:

      • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      Language Skills:

      • Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods.
      • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing
      • Ability to read and interpret general business document or governmental regulations and manuals
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and associates.

      Mathematical Skills:

      • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.

      Reasoning Ability:

      • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
      • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
      • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

      Certificates, Licenses. Registrations:

      • Valid State Drivers License and satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) for 3 years.
