      Job Title: Golf Club Tournament Events Professional

      Job Pay Range: $56,500 /annual salary + Incentives estimated at $9,000.

      As a member of the Golf team, this role will work directly with the BROADMOOR Sales/Conferences managers and all group clients in the booking and coordination of all group events while managing the golf starting time reservation system.

      What you will be doing:

      • Book all golf events in conjunction with the sales department
      • Prepare and follow up on all contracts and paperwork with all group events
      • Input names and pairings of group events and print out cart signs, scorecards, etc.
      • Directly manage a tournament/event assistant and seasonal support staff
      • Create signed contracts with all clients in advance of group golf events
      • Create 10 day forecast, tournament checklist and billing sheets for all events in a timely manner
      • Work closely with Player Services to ensure all bags are preloaded at least 1 ½ hours in advance and all signage and proximity markers are placed
      • Work closely with the Director of Golf and Head Professional in all tournament administration requirements for all group events
      • Ensure that both golf courses are being booked to the capacity through the tee time reservations staff
      • Ensure that all proper billing for group golf events are coordinated and carried through properly with the Head Golf Professional/Director of Golf
      • Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in all areas of group and tournament organization
      • Assist Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf as needed in all golf operations functions
      • Ensure the tournament office and surrounding area is clean, neat and orderly
      • Serve as one of the Golf Staff Managers and ensure that all hotel standards are being carried out
      • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
      • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
      • Other duties as assigned

      What we are looking for:

      • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; and two to four years related experience and /or training.
      • Must have understanding of Golf Formats and Bookings.
      • Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to transport supplies/materials throughout the resort
        • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older.
      • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
      • Strong interpersonal communication skills
      • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
