Genesis10 is currently seeking a Google Cloud Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud-native solutions on GCP to support secure and scalable applications
Manage and monitor GCP services using native tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide cloud architectural guidance
Support CI/CD pipeline integrations and configuration using GCP tools
Implement security controls, IAM policies, cost optimization, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues across services and applications
Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security and operational best practices

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, including roles focused on cloud-based development and infrastructure
Demonstrated expertise in GCP services and architecture (e.g., Compute, Networking, Kubernetes, Serverless, IAM)
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Google Cloud Build)
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and access control models
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Pay Range: $60-70
