  ICA Banken has the ambition to become a data-driven organisation. To enable this, we are investing in establishing a data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are therefore looking for a dedicated Google Platform Lead to drive the establishment of the data platform.

  
  This is your job

  Welcome to a high-performing team that will have a fundamental impact on ICA Banken’s journey to becoming a data-driven organisation. We are part of the Analytics department and work on the establishment of a data platform on GCP, which is our new target architecture. The strategy is to move data from our source systems to GCP and develop data products to strengthen the organisation from both the business and technology sides and make ICA Banken a data-driven organisation.

  As our Cloud Platform Lead, you will:

  • Be responsible for driving the adoption, implementation, and management of GCP services and solutions.

  • Act as a Product Owner (PO) and lead the team, coordinate, prioritize, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide technical expertise to ensure effective utilization of GCP for various projects and initiatives.

  • Design scalable architectures, monitor platform operations, and guide the organisation in leveraging the full potential of GCP.

  • Coordinate activities among different parties to ensure timely platform establishment.

  • Communicate with other stakeholders to ensure value creation from data and that data is onboarded onto the platform.

  Who are you?

  We are looking for you who have a university degree in engineering, programming or similar, alternatively at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field. We assume you have experience in how to leverage cloud solutions in a broader context, as well as the ability to identify the root causes of challenges when implementing the GCP platform. We expect you to be our leader in cloud implementation and an expert in the field.

  You will thrive in this position if you have strong experience in technical product management with several years of experience in a data-related role. You may have worked as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, Platform Engineer, or similar, and have a good understanding of Cloud. You are passionate about driving change in the organization through data-driven decision-making. You have a balanced blend of technical expertise, deep domain knowledge, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You have experience applying data governance frameworks that ensure data integrity and quality.

  To be eligible for this position, you should be fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish is considered a plus.

  As a person, you are curious, analytical, goal-oriented, passionate about data and driving positive change in the organization. You are equally comfortable talking to technical experts as you are with those who have never worked with data. You thrive in a collaborative and agile environment.
