      Job Summary:

      Within the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology office (ASET) has a mission to deliver forward thinking and secure IT solutions to state agencies through the expertise of a passionate and skilled workforce committed to superior customer service. This is fueled by a vision to become the information technology leader for Arizona government, providing innovative and transformative services.

      ASET is currently looking for an innovative, driven IT Intern to research, understand and evaluate department business workflows which are dependent on Microsoft Office products for the purposes of automation and Google Workspace integration. This position will design and build simple and efficient business workflows, leveraging Google Workspace and Google developer tools Apps Script, AppSheet, and Data Studio. This position will also support Google Workspace adoption/transformation for Arizona state agencies.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
      • Knowledge of Google Workspace, formerly G Suite, (Google Apps) including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slide, Forms, Sites, & Chat
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access)
      • Google Developer Tools Apps Script, AppSheet, & DataStudio
      Selective Preference(s):
      • Completion of Introduction to IT, IT Programming, Computer and Networking Systems, Managing Configurations and Active Directory, and Script Programming: VBA, A1 Notation & Java
      Pre-Employment Requirements:
      • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year College or University with a focus in Information Technology
      • Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid
