  JOB SUMMARY:

  Perform all tasks related to food and beverage service in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area in accordance with company standards and procedures.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (includes but is not limited to the following)

  • Become familiar with all menu items, wine, and spirits.
  • Take and deliver beverage orders to guests and ensure correct and prompt delivery of orders.
  • Enter order into computer system to request beverage preparation.
  • Observe guests to respond if additional service is required.
  • Prepare check and deliver to guests when finished.
  • Clear, clean, reset, and maintain station during shift.
  • Knowledge of all table setups/configurations (i.e. table tops, bridges and linen.)
  • Follow all proper check control procedures.
  • Take food to table from station with all silverware and condiments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to handle money and make correct change.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
  • Comprehension of POS system
