Depending on the candidate’s background and interests, the role may focus on one or more of the following: (1) regulatory analysis; (2) legal analysis; (3) market analysis; or (4) policy and advocacy. The projects and efforts of these policy interns will support the Unite Us mission to transform the system of health and human services in the United States. Our 8-week summer internship class runs from June 3rd - July 26th 2024.

Policy Interns will work directly with the leadership of the Government & Regulatory Affairs team. Interns will gain exposure to high-level policy and strategy discussions. Each will also lead a policy research project that will be completed over the course of the 8-weeks. Specific projects can be shaped to align with candidate interests.

Note that we are accepting applications from both Undergraduate and Graduate students studying in a relevant field.

      • Undergraduate students are likely rising Juniors or rising Seniors and are studying towards a relevant degree and career.
      • Graduate applicants may be studying for their MPH, MBA, MSW, MPA, MPP, MD, JD or other relevant degree.
      • Experience and professional direction is more relevant than the specific degree.
