What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work on daily download of assigned Governmental Program claims
- Adhere to regulatory, compliance, and organizational guidelines
- Ensure timely transmittal of accurate and clean claims
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve Revenue Cycle delays
- Assist in auditing queues and training new employees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 4-7 years of prior experience in Billing of claims
- Medicare or Medicaid Billing experience required
- CPC, CPC-H, CCS, RMC certifications a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BA preferred or equivalent
- Experience in adjudication of claims
- Familiarity with Revenue Codes, DRG guidelines, and ICD/CPT codes
- Ability to train personnel and work under pressure
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
