- Tracking obligations, deliverables, and key contract milestones in DCAA-compliant systems (e.g., Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, SAP, JAMIS, ProPricer, PRISM, GovWin).
- Managing compliance workflows to ensure FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and cybersecurity requirements are met.
- Coordinating contract execution with finance, program managers, and leadership.
- Oversee DoD and federal contract lifecycle management, including prime contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and DFARS flowdowns.
- Ensure contract compliance with federal acquisition regulations, funding reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Draft, negotiate, and execute contract terms, task orders, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and cybersecurity regulations.
- Monitor and track contract performance obligations, reporting deadlines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain audit-ready contract files in compliance with DCAA/DCMA requirements.
- Enter, track, and manage contract data in DCAA-compliant accounting systems (Unanet).
- Coordinate contract closeouts, funding reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
- Implement workflow automation tools to streamline compliance tracking and reporting.
- Act as the primary contracts liaison between government agencies, primes, subcontractors, and internal teams (program management, finance, procurement).
- Support proposal and contract capture efforts, including pricing analysis and compliance review.
- Train internal teams on contractual obligations, regulatory updates, and compliance tracking best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Government Accounting, or a related field. CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM certification is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing government contracts (FAR/DFARS, DoD, or federal agency procurement).
- Extensive knowledge of defense contract compliance, including DFARS flowdowns, ITAR/EAR, and cybersecurity regulations.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management software (e.g., Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, SAP, JAMIS, ProPricer, PRISM, GovWin).
- Strong ability to interpret federal contract terms, analyze risks, and manage compliance tracking.
- Fluency in digital-first contract administration—comfortable working in cloud-based compliance tools, databases, and automated workflows.
- Ability to independently execute detailed contract tasks while coordinating across multiple departments.
- This is a one-person contracts department, working closely with accounting, finance, and legal teams to ensure full regulatory and contractual compliance. You will not be managing a team but will be directly responsible for contract execution, compliance tracking, and hands-on administration.
- The ideal candidate is a government contracts professional, not necessarily a lawyer or paralegal. However, candidates with legal or government accounting backgrounds (DCAA, DFAS, Deltek, JAMIS) are encouraged to apply.
- Hybrid Preferred, Remote Considered for candidates with strong digital collaboration skills and experience working in cloud-based contract tracking systems.
- This is not a legal advisory role. While legal experience may be useful, this position is focused on contract execution, compliance tracking, and regulatory oversight.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000
About the Role:
OKSI is seeking an experienced government contracts professional to oversee the full contract lifecycle for our aerospace and defense programs. This hands-on, independent role requires strong FAR/DFARS compliance experience and the ability to manage prime and subcontract agreements with government agencies, industry partners, and internal teams. It is not a managerial role; this position is responsible for direct contract execution, compliance tracking, and hands-on administration.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in government contracting, compliance tracking, and contract lifecycle management, particularly within DoD and defense-related programs. Candidates with backgrounds in DFARS compliance, federal contract accounting, or government contract administration (such as DCMA auditors, DFAS financial analysts, or former military procurement officers) are strongly encouraged to apply.
