      The candidate will report to the Office of the Chief Administrator Offer / Information Managment Division. The ideal candidate for this position will be an analytical individual that communicates well, problem solver, and self-starter with an understanding of the Privacy Act and E-Government Act. Should have experience with privacy compliance documents such as a Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA).

      The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

      Grade GS-12: To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

      • Conducting thorough research of implementing regulations and policies and procedures to manage agency/organization information, AND
      • Providing assistance and services to staff members and communicated information to the Executive leadership, facility staff and outside stakeholders, AND
      • Coordinating with other bureaus and offices where appropriate to ensure consistency in document/information releases and responses.

      Grade GS-13: To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

      • Writing and editing complex documents to support agency Privacy projects and program initiatives, such as Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), and System of Record Notice (SORN) , AND
      • Evaluating Federal privacy laws to identify systemic complex issues , AND
      • Managing projects to assist programs to efficiently meet deadlines using various project management methodologies and tools.
