- Assist members of the Government Relations team with sustainability policy assessment and development
- Assist with data entry and data reconciliation for the Trade Association database
- Assist with a range of projects related to metrics, analytics, and policy development processes
- Assist with data compilation with respect to the roll out and internal education of the company’s DoA and Trade Associations
- Under the guidance of the GR team, participate in various projects and activities
- Participate in brainstorm sessions, team meetings and department meetings
- Current enrollment in a Political Science or International Studies program with an interest and aptitude to work in Public Affairs or Government Relations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and internet applications
- Fluent in English
- Attention to detail and a creative mind are essential to this role.
- Additionally, the individual must work well in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

Basic Function
LyondellBasell is seeking a full-time, paid internship from approximately May 2024 through August 2024.
This internship will provide a comprehensive overview of Government Affairs, including international, federal, state and local government relations. The Intern will gain a better understanding of these various functions and be prepared to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world practical setting.
The work location is the LyondellBasell Tower in Downtown Houston.
