What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop new business within the Government Sector and provide sales support
- Understand and navigate all levels of government procurement processes
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing government customers
- Capture leads for private contractors involved with outsourced projects
- Recognize industry trends that could benefit the Public Sector
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma with 3 years of work experience or a College degree with 2+ years of work experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a sales role, either inside or outside sales
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Wynne Rental Man is a plus
- Ability to travel within territory 2-3 days per week by car
- Willingness to be available on an on-call basis during emergencies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience calling on office and field site locations
- Familiarity with specialty product training in areas such as Scaffolding and Compressed Air Solutions
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to incorporate specialty businesses into presentations
