      Job summary

      We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and team-oriented GP to join our friendly and supportive practice for a maternity locum role. This part-time position is for 3 sessions per week, with flexibility around the working days. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

      Main duties of the job

      Key Responsibilities

      • Provide a mix of face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
      • Carry out administrative duties including Docman and repeat prescriptions
      • Participate in clinical and practice meetings

Our multidisciplinary team includes salaried GPs, nurses, pharmacists, a phlebotomist, healthcare assistants, as well as experienced administrative and reception teams. We are an active member of a proactive and supportive Primary Care Network (PCN).

      As an accredited training practice, we provide education for medical students, GP trainees, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Our team includes experienced trainers committed to mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

      The post-holder will manage and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.They will provide an excellent standard of clinical care while upholding GMC standards for Good Medical Practice. In addition, the role involves contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment within the multidisciplinary team.
