      Job summary

      The Phoenix Medical Practice has a vacancy for a Receptionist to join its experienced and friendly team. Based in the rural setting of Burham, we have a growing patient list of just over 5,600.

      Working hours for the week would be 26 hours across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Primarily based at Burham, candidate will need to be able to also work from our branch surgery in Eccles.

      Main duties of the job

      To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required.

      As an EMIS WEB practice, previous experience using this system would be preferable although appropriate training will be provided. The successful candidate would need to have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable working in a small team with the ability to work un-supervised.

      About us

      We have an experienced, friendly and supportive team throughout the whole practice and will be relocating to brand new purpose built premises within next 12-18 months.
