      Current Need: We are currently seeking an experienced GPO Specialist to join our team.

      Position Description

      The GPO Membership Services Specialist is accountable for day-to-day operational activities to support the McKesson GPO businesses. The individual is responsible for customer enrollment/onboarding, roster maintenance/updates, and contract audits to ensure members can access negotiated contracts and services through McKesson. The individual will work across multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) to standardize core membership services processes and tools. The position will report to the Senior Manager, GPO Membership Services.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Manage and Maintain Manufacturer Rosters

      • Regularly review / cleanse Membership Rosters to ensure accurate data

      • Maintain Rosters for historical research

      • Ensure manufacturers are notified of add/edits/deletes in a timely manner; meet established internal SLAs and criteria

      • Be the subject matter expert / voice of the customer internally and with pharmaceutical partners

      • Create and maintain membership documents as required

      Proactively Conduct Contract Audits & Minimize Leakage

      • Understand contract requirements for Biopharmaceutical portfolio

      • Advise customer / sales of manufacturer requirements if not currently meeting them

      • Advocate for member eligibility

      • Work with internal (Contract Admin, MasterData, Business Development, Field Sales) and external stakeholders to resolve off contract issues in a timely manner

      • Follow-up / close the loop on transaction level off-contract purchases

      Support New Contract Launches / Amendments

      • Work with GPO Business Development and Contracting to understand new contract pipeline

      • Identify specific membership requirements / changes

      • Review launch checklist and ensure membership services activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner

      • Review /audit new contracts post launch (Day 1) to ensure customers are loaded as expected

      • Update all applicable tools / resources to ensure product changes are captured

      Oversee GPO On-boarding & Enrollment of New Members

      • Process and track member applications, declaration letters and other forms for new and existing members in a timely manner

      • Add and remove customer information related to GPO membership within the SAP environment to ensure accurate customer status and overall GPO membership base

      Reporting and Continuous Improvement

      • Provide regular membership / manufacturer reports as required

      • Help update, develop, and implement membership services SOPs, processes, and metrics

      • Collaborate with six sigma team to help identify and address operational gaps (systems, people, processes)

      • Collaborate with pharmaceutical manufacturers on issues resolution and areas of improvement

      Minimum Job Qualifications

      4+ years of relevant experience

      Degree or equivalent

      Critical Skills

      • 2+ years of experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations

      • Proven successful in working with databases and CRM systems (SAP EP1 and Sales Force)

      • Working knowledge of oncology and multi-specialty marketplace strongly preferred

      • Strong Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

      • Intermediate Excel skills including experience writing formulas using functions

      • Possess a self-directed work style requiring minimal supervision.

      • Ability to prioritize responsibilities with multiple deliverables.

      • Ability to work with other departments to ensure high quality and accuracy standards.

      • Demonstrated ability to deliver complete, timely and accurate reports.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      Education

      • 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

      Travel:

      • 15% Travel needed

      • Typically one 2 to 3 day trip each quarter

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $62,500 - $104,100
