- Data Engineering: Implementation of data models within a data warehouse environment, optimizing models for query performance and usability
- Data Provisioning: Crafting robust pipelines to bring in data from a variety of source systems using various ETL tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or experience in data engineering.
- Phenomenal teammate, willing to collaborate with and support others in the team.
- Passion for new skills, with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Embraces diversity and inclusion in workplace, open to different ideas and cultures
- Knowledge and passion for automating processes and dataflows
- Curiosity on Finance and related topics
- Report Development: Build tabular reports using Tableau, PowerBI and/or Business Objects
- Software Engineering: Experience developing / implementing software
- Cloud Experience: Experience developing within cloud environments AWS / Azure etc
Overview:
Arm’s Enterprise Data & Insights team provides insights, reporting & data on business performance to leaders and analysts across Arm. We pull together multiple internal and external datasets, with which we build datasets in Fusion (our data warehouse/analytics platform), financial reports, dashboards through the Single Pane platform, and predictions of future performance with Machine Learning models.
A foundation of robust data is key to our ability to generate insights. As a Graduate Data Engineer, you will be working with team members to help our data landscape continue to grow and evolve! Your role will be to maintain the existing data models within Fusion, and support the upkeep and implementation of new requirements, collaborating with the Data Engineering team to deliver performant data pipelines for the business. As our data platform expands you will have the opportunity to grow alongside, building on your strengths to help develop trusted data foundations for enterprise level analytics!
