Are you a new or recent Dental Graduate seeking an exciting opportunity to work in beautiful Dunedin, New Zealand?
We are looking for a passionate and driven graduate dentist to join our modern, supportive team based dental practice.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience under the mentorship of experienced dentists and academics in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago.

The Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for two full-time positions as Graduate Dentist Intern, commencing January 2025 in Dunedin.
In this role you will work with experienced clinicians to provide a wide scope of general dental procedures. Throughout this one-year placement, you will benefit from ongoing mentoring, training, support and coaching. Extensions considered.

You are a new Dental Graduate or Dentist in their first 5 years of working, and someone who values interacting with other professionals and thrives on working in a supportive culture founded on teamwork, integrity, and social responsibility.
You aspire to form a firm foundation of clinical skills while acquiring some teaching skills. You may also desire opportunities to get involved in research or postgraduate learning while consolidating your skills.
To be successful in this role, you should also have:
· Strong knowledge and understanding in all areas of general dentistry.
· Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
· An ability to work in a large cohesive team environment.
· Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
· A strong desire to consolidate your clinical skills in a supportive environment.
· An ability to provide high quality dental care to all age groups of patients.
· A drive to support students as a mentor in areas commensurate with your clinical expertise.

This is a full-time (1FTE), fixed term (1 year) position, located in Dunedin.
The salary for this position is $75,231 per annum.
