      Your assignments:

      We have 2 positions available (location Amsterdam) where you, as a Philips GDP Finance Trainee, will be able to gain exposure across Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Partnering Domains.

      Department Productivity & Cost Management
      Your key areas of responsibility include:

      • Performing global cost analysis on €7B non-manufacturing cost across Philips
      • Oversee and manage monthly cost category reporting (e.g. salaries & wages, travel, consulting) with the productivity & cost team in Amsterdam and Chennai (India)
      • Drive cost forecasting accuracy to +/- 1% to budget
      • Productivity €2B 3-year savings analytics and reporting out the progress of committed savings in all financial cycles (month-end close/forecast/budget).
      • Drives quarterly productivity cost reviews with business head of finance and their business unit teams
      • Ensuring simplification, quality, accuracy, and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth for cost and productivity savings
      • Constantly looking for new opportunities to improve and streamline existing ways of working in analysis and reporting
      • Collaborate with other FP&A departments, people function, and indirect procurement teams

      Department Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) / Department Magnetic Resonance (MR) (6 months per department)

      Your key areas of responsibility within MR include :

      • Responsible for the financial reporting of MR productivity as a finance lead
      • Ensure close communication between all stakeholders in MR and limit the variance of central productivity team reporting versus what the business recognizes
      • Cashflow overview

      Your key areas of responsibility within IGT-S include:

      • Create a monthly performance reporting where the financial performance of the IGT-S clinical segments per market is reflected
      • Create a report and process for regular review of balance sheet movements
      • Clean-up the cost center reporting of IGT-S Business Sellex together with PPA and Finance business partners
      • Support IGTS finance team to expand Management Reporting to support effective performance management

      As a GDP trainee you will receive a 2.5 years, full time employment contract with excellent labour conditions.

      You're the right fit if:

      • Recently graduated Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent and available per 1st November 2024 (latest 1st December 2024)
      • Max 1 years of work experience straight after your graduation
      • Excellent communication and influencing skills, a customer-first attitude, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager and ambitious
      • International experience would be a benefit
      • Business fluency in English

      Recruitment process

      If you are interested in joining, please apply online latest 29th of September, by uploading your CV and/or motivation letter.

      • Within 2 weeks after your application, you will be informed whether you passed the pre-selection round and if yes you will be invited to perform a gamified test and video interview.
      • You will be informed whether you belong to the best performers and if yes you will be invited for the final assessment center, which will take place on Tuesday 15th October (physical presence is required) . During this event, you will work on several challenging exercises together with similar minded graduates. This is the final step in the selection process. In the same week, we will inform you of the outcome.
      • Start date will be between 1st November and 1st December
