      About the Role:

      Located in Sydney – as the Graduate Engineer, you will provide support to the Project Engineer and Project team by being accountable for successful delivery of multiple work packages, with required quality output and collaborating with all stakeholders to deliver contract scope and deliverables on time and within budget.

      Key Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Proactively forecast and plan detailed construction works in conjunction with the Site Supervisor in accordance with the Program of Work and processes.
      • Manage the BOQ and BOM ensuring all systems are up to date and reconciling according to construction progress.
      • Work with the Project Engineers and Area Supervisors on developing an initial and revised Program (Schedule) and maintaining relationship with subcontractors.
      • Ensure traffic management plans are in place, with appropriate council approvals, in a timely manner.
      • Ensure LAAN Access notices are in place in preparation for construction.
      • Raise all variations for construction changes to the Project Engineer.
      • Liaise with the Material Engineer to ensure all stock (BOM items) is ordered in a timely manner to meet construction schedules.
      • Compile all construction variations identified by Site Supervisors and maintain an Asbuilt Redline.
      • Reconciling the final BOMBOQ (claim) and reviewing with Project Engineer

      Key Skills and Experience:

      • 0-2 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry
      • Qualifications in Engineering/ Construction Management essential
      • Competency in MS Professional
      • Proficient in MS Office and MS Projects.
      • Advanced Excel Skills (i.e. V-Lookups, Pivots Tables, Queries, Data analysis).
      • Ability to read construction drawings.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of cost management and finance principles.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial management.
      • High attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Critical thinking and ability to problem solve
