      Job Summary

      Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a GET Engineer to work with our Knife Gate valve (KGV) engineering team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to execute order with engineering support on ERP and PLM activities for Knife gate valve products. You will be work on Valve sustainment support, which includes part code creation, BoM generation, General arrangement drawings, CAD support for VA/VE projects

      In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

      • Work within engineering team to create 3D part & assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings, engineering BoMs.
      • Work with product design team to execute VA/VE and sustenance engineering projects.
      • Builds relationship across plant functions, locations & global teams to gain/share information on different knife gate valve products.

      For This Role, You Will Need:

      • Fresher (less than 6 months passed out) graduate engineer with excellent academic records.
      • Hands on practice in engineering CAD tools preferably Solid works, Inventor etc.
      • Good Understanding in Mechanics, Strength of Material and Manufacturing Processes etc.
      • Thoroughness in documentation, attention to detail
      • Effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.
      • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.

      Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

      • Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering Degree or related Engineering
      • CAD tool certificates will be an added advantage.
