      OBJECTIVE: To develop highly technical engineering professionals in Switch-Mode Power Supply design.

      COURSE DESCRIPTION:

      • Scholarship equivalent to Post-Baccalaureate (Diploma) Program.
      • Program under MAPUA University, with course curriculum co-designed with Advanced Energy.
      • Full time one-year diploma course focused on Switch-mode Power Supply design with digital electronics.
      • Six months classroom/laboratory training in Mapua and six months on-the-job training (OJT) in the different departments of Advanced Energy Design Center in Eastwood, Quezon City.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • Graduates of Electronics Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
      • Very good academic records.
      • Good background in Electronics Design.

      WHAT TO EXPECT:

      • Stringent selection process: technical exam and interviews.
      • Extensive industry training: technical lectures, OJT at a world class engineering design center, and thesis project.
      • Advanced Energy/Artesyn can offer employment to assume a technical position upon completion of the program.
      • Class schedule is three (3) days a week; fresh graduates of ECE or EE who are planning to review for the board exam are also welcome to apply
      • Full scholarship: tuition and project expenses covered by Advanced Energy.
      • Competitive non-taxable monthly stipend: P20,000 monthly allowance plus P2,000 monthly housing assistance (will increase to P3,500 monthly during OJT in Eastwood).
      • Units in Diploma in Power Electronics are credited to the MSEE major in Power Electronics in Mapua University.
