This internship requires the candidate enrolled in a graduate degree program, and demonstrate a working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R statistical computing that will enable development of models to generate IgG structure-function performance and predictive capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, driven and team-oriented graduate student preferably with some experience in computational biology and bioinformatics (optional).

All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months.All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance is provided for the internship program.
Position Summary:
Antibody Discovery Department: Computational structure-function based antibody design.
The graduate internship is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to be an integral part of Bio-Techne’s leading edge antibody discovery program for research, diagnostic and therapeutic applications. In this position you will have an opportunity to work with group of passionate antibody developers and harness the power of machine learning to design novel antibodies. You will get a chance to learn about antibody development processes and will gain insight into broader research communities using antibodies for solving real life challenges. Using their programming skills, the intern will work with the team to build computational models relating to several structural and functional aspects of antibodies.
This is an onsite position that will require the individual to be in person (Minneapolis) during the internship. Relocation assistance is not currently offered for internships. The intern will be expected to give a formal presentation at the conclusion of the summer project.
