What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with data updates for the employer’s descriptive data products
- Support the research team with data and research-related tasks as needed
- Conduct basic quantitative analysis using Excel and Stata
- Synthesize literature quickly and produce written research outputs
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain excellent attention to detail
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current enrollment in a graduate program (public policy, criminology, sociology, social work, data science, or related field)
- Familiarity with criminal justice data sources and concepts
- Experience with basic quantitative analysis; proficiency in Excel and Stata is essential
- Strong research and writing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Enrollment in a doctoral program preferred
- Familiarity with Tableau as a plus
