  Your Role and Responsibilities

  Located in Dublin, Ireland, you will join a team of talented individuals in the delivery of quality software for the industry leader in Intelligent Orchestration. It provides a truly unique opportunity for a graduate to join a successful, rapidly growing organization and fill a pivotal role in its growth and success. Applicants should have a bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science or similar fields.
  

  Introduction

  IBM Security® QRadar® Suite, is designed to help security teams respond to cyberthreats with confidence, automate with intelligence and collaborate with consistency. It guides teams in resolving incidents by codifying established incident response processes into dynamic playbooks. The open and agnostic platform helps accelerate and orchestrate their response by automating actions with intelligence and integrating with other security tools. Teams can have best-in-class response capabilities. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, talented individual to join our Software Development team.

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • You are a strong programmer and know how to write code in Java, JavaScript or Python.
  • You are curious, self-driven, and ask the right questions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of customer related issues.
  • Work with the engineering manager, product owners, architects and developers to ensure the product is being delivered with quality, on time and within budget.

  Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience with some of the following technologies and are willing to learn the rest:
    • Software algorithms, data structures and performance at scale.
    • Test automation frameworks such as selenium, protractor etc.
    • Web applications and microservices.
    • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience using Chef or Jenkins.
    • Understanding of how the web works conceptually, including but not limited to technologies and concepts like HTTP, REST, SOAP/RESTful web services, JSON.
    • Experience using GitHub.
