- Developing contract documents and overseeing the construction of stormwater projects.
- Conducting reviews, offering expert advice, and providing guidance on stormwater management across Tāmaki Makaurau.
- Delivering exemplary customer service to both external and internal stakeholders.

- We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Environmental) or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the three waters infrastructure sector or an equivalent field, with a preference for prior involvement in stormwater design.
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's license.

We are currently seeking a Graduate/Intermediate Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Design Office team as a Healthy Waters Intermediate Specialist.As the largest team of stormwater specialists in New Zealand, the Healthy Waters department offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in stormwater management while gaining valuable experience in the Local Government sector. In your role as a Healthy Waters Intermediate Specialist in the Design Office, you will become an integral member of a select team of highly skilled stormwater engineers dedicated to implementing and shaping industry best practices across Tāmaki Makaurau.
This role offers a unique opportunity to witness your designs evolve from concept to real-world implementation, as you work through both the design and construction phases. Our portfolio of work encompasses a wide range of stormwater projects including grey infrastructure/civil, blue/green infrastructure, stream daylighting and stream restoration projects. Given our substantial forward works programme, we can customise projects to expedite your career growth and equip you with the relevant experience needed to attain Chartership.
