      The State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant Manager provides operational oversight and management for the SOR grants, which are competitive grants awarded to states by the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to address escalating opioid misuse, opioid use disorder (OUD), and opioid-related overdoses. This position is part of DMH/DD/SUS Contracts and Grant Management Section and reports to the Acting Assistant Director for Grant Management.

      • Experience with writing and submitting federal grant applications
      • Experience in developing and/or managing complex budgets
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail



      Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or Bachelor s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
