What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with pre- and post-award activities for assigned departments and principal investigators (PIs)
- Review expenditure requests and manage effort reviews with guidance from senior staff
- Participate in providing pre-award grant support, including formatting biographical sketches
- Maintain and update master support documents using various University and Federal systems
- Assist with annual progress reports and compliance with administrative policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0 years of relevant experience required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to interpret and enforce sponsor guidelines and manage allowable expenditures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in research administration or grants management
- Familiarity with compliance and administrative policies within a university setting
- Knowledge of University and Federal systems related to grants and contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
