- Provides superior customer service to visitors, guests, and hospital staff. (50%)
- Assists with project management initiatives, including data management, data entry, and specific tasks for departmental special projects or reports; assists with the coordination of departmental meetings or events. (35%)
- Provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. (15%)
- High School Equivalent / GED Required and
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent college graduate Required
- Experience working in an office Preferred and
- Experience and interest in clinical research Preferred
- Accounting/Finance background with some research preferred.
- Able to use personal computer. (Required proficiency)
- Familiarity with Microsoft, Office products Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook. (Preferred proficiency)
- Ability to use basic office equipment, including copier and fax, necessary. (Required proficiency)
- Good telephone etiquette. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to work independently and in teams. (Required proficiency)
- Should demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. (Required proficiency)
- Must have good judgment, organizational, and decision-making skills. (Required proficiency)
- Candidate must be courteous and professional, even in busy or stressful situations. (Required proficiency)

A Brief Overview
This position is an internship within the Clinical Research Center and allows for the incumbent to gain experience within the research community at a major academic medical center. The intern will provide finance/accounting function related to invoicing for Industry Sponsors and CROs portal and reconciliation of payment. This position may last for 9 months or more.What you will do
