Create graphics and animations for news broadcasts, social media posts, web banners, and promotional materials (commercials, print media, etc.)
Work alongside the promotions team and the news team to coordinate projects between departments
Work closely with producers, reporters, anchors, and directors to produce requested graphics and animations quickly and effectively
Develop animations and promotional graphics that coincide with station brand
Conceptualize, create, and assist the sales department for any potential sales collateral
Create and produce any print pieces for newspaper, magazine or program pieces
Assist in coordinating station photography for talent, staff and other projects
Help shoot and edit projects/stories for the newsroom
Direct and Edit newscasts, as needed
Perform other related duties, as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design or Broadcasting (preferred)
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Media Encoder (preferred)
Ability to work on various projects simultaneously and to deliver finished projects on deadline
Highly effective communications and organizational skills
- Pay: $15 - $16.50 per hour, depending on experience

The Graphic Artist conceptualizes and creates all online graphics for news, sales, and creative services departments. They will also be responsible for helping shoot and edit stories, as well as direct and edit newscasts.
