      Do you want to join a vibrant and forward looking department as a Graphic Designer at one of Europe's leading women's & children's hospitals?

      We are looking for a graphic designer to join our design team. You will have a HND in Graphic Design or equivalent. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work.

      Our ideal candidate will have professional experience of working as a graphic designer and a high level of illustrative skills. You will have good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and possess excellent computer software skills, including Microsoft office applications. You will have experience of working with and developing a brand which you will be able to display within your current portfolio of work.

      We work within the trust brand to create, promote and maintain the visual identity of the trust. From patient information and clinical forms to annual reports and large format printing our graphic designers bring concepts, ideas, and stories to life using a brand that uses typography, shapes, colour and images. We educate and inspire staff and clients to learn more about something, to make a piece of work be the best it can be within its area.

      Main duties of the job

      To provide design and administration assistance to the Graphic Design Team who are situated within Clinical Photography and Design Services. The post will provide assistance for our range of graphic design services, to meet the educational and marketing requirements of the Trust. These services include the design and print production of Trust publications such as leaflets, posters, signage, web graphics, merchandise and bound documents.

      To actively promote the departments' services within the Trust.

      • BTEC HIND in graphic design and equivalent post qualification experience as a graphic designer

      • Post-graduate certificate in Healthcare Design.
