- Developing infographics, sales materials (booklets, tri-folds, long-form reports in both print and digital), PowerPoint presentations, and custom iconography
- Creating experiential event collateral – signage, nametags, large scale posters and vinyl decals
- Receiving an interpreting constructive feedback from project stakeholders and incorporating feedback during quality checks through revision stages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (the ability to effectively sell an idea) with team members, other Deloitte teams, and outside vendors
- Learning new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment
- Managing time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.
- Being a resource for the team in your field of experience: assist, train and support all team members to level up in their design capabilities.
- Building relationships and being an ambassador for design excellence across the Greenhouse and Deloitte.
- You will be designing with text that occurs in Spanish, French, and English
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design
- A design portfolio demonstrating work across a variety of mediums. Please share your portfolio with your application
- Strong design aesthetic (e.g., ability to apply graphic design best principles, understands importance of negative space, grid system, colour theory and typography) and familiarity with accessibility guidelines and how they impact design
- Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); expert knowledge of PowerPoint; experience working with After Effects/Premier Pro is desired.
- Ability to study design briefs and determine requirements and create and execute design assets based on verbal and/or written direction
- Web design and/or knowledge of front-end web development and prototyping is an asset
- Experience working for consulting firms is an asset
- Bilingual French/English is perferred

What will your typical day look like?
The Graphic Designer works across a wide range of projects and mediums as part of the Greenhouse Experience Program. You will support the development of collateral for Greenhouse Experience workshops (aka Greenhouse Labs) which includes slide templates, nametags, posters, door wraps, wall decals as well as program-level design projects such as website assets, annual reports layouts and marketing material for social media etc.)
This role also helps elevate our entire team’s design acumen so the successful candidate will need to have solid multidisciplinary design foundation while constantly being on the lookout for new developments in graphic design and interactive design (We have some exciting new interactive installations on the horizon!).
The Graphic Designer works under the guidance of the Creative Strategy Lead, and in collaboration with facilitators and experience designers and other key stakeholders across Canada to strategically shape the overall experience.
