- Create visuals for multi-channel use, including web, social, print, email and merchandise, managing designs from conception to completion.
- Work with internal stakeholders and outside partners on furthering establishing TrueNorth Steel’s brand and style guides.
- Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with website CMS systems and best practices to lead in-house web design and content updates.
- Perform basic photo editing and video formatting to support multimedia content production.
- Manage and apply the company brand across promotional products and merchandise.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development for marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and internal communications.
- Manage the department’s file structure and act as a solution owner for the organization’s Digital Asset Manager.
- Research and proactively implement up-to-date design, brand and marketing trends.
- Conduct pre- and post-production quality checks, demonstrating a thorough understanding of designing for material constraints and preparing print ready files.
- Contribute to campaign development, sharing ideas for creative design and execution.
- Build and uphold brand voice and identity across all platforms and channels.
- Serve as a company ambassador as needed.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Exceptional attention to layout, typography, and color accuracy with strong attention-to-detail.
- Competent understanding of CMS systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts.
- Skilled proficiency in cloud-based applications and Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Strong organization skills with good attention to detail.
- Work within complex situations by coordinating activities of internal and external personnel and groups.
- Must be service oriented and responsive.
- Maintain confidential information.
- Interest in or understanding construction or manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a graphic design role, with a proven portfolio of work.

As a member of the Marketing team, the Graphic Designer will create, apply and manage all aspects of TrueNorth Steel’s visual identity in accordance with our brand standards.
