Summary/Objective
The ideal candidate will be a passionate designer with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask and produce print and digital material. This candidate should be highly detail oriented and dedicated to clean file management while adhering to our brand standards.
Essential Functions
· Work with the existing design team to create graphics for print, merchandising, presentations, web, social media, packaging and videos
· Assist Visual Manager in merchandising project review and corresponding feedback with vendor production team
· Assist in the design, creation and organization of retail merchandising materials
· Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type most suitable to design and function of graphics
· Provide designs and layouts from concept to completion, as needed
Preferred Education and Experience
· Associates degree in Graphic Design
· Graphic artist with 2-4 years of experience
Desired Skills
· Working production knowledge - resolutions, color and size accuracies, formatting, dielines, CMYK, RBG, spot and process colors, vector and raster imaging
· Able to learn brand identity and implement into designs accordingly
· Competent in 2D illustration for product manuals and box art
· Proficient in technical understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite for Mac platform
· Detail-oriented with great self-motivation, organization and communication skills
· Organized and able to prioritize day-to-day tasks with special projects to meet fluid deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
· Positive attitude to deliver projects both large and small with equal enthusiasm
· Knowledge of consumer electronics industry, specifically audio products, a plus
