      Description

      Title: Graphic Designer

      Location: Main Campus | Keller, TX

      Department: Marketing and Communications

      Reports To: Associate Director of Marketing and Communications

      Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

      Hours: 40 hours per week (must be available for special events, church meetings, etc. as needed)

      Overview

      As a Graphic Designer at Milestone Church, you are enthusiastic about using your creative skills to support our communication efforts. You have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for contributing to meaningful projects. You will be responsible for designing and creating assets for a variety of projects that play an important role in supporting the vision of Milestone Church: Reaching People and Building Lives.

      Core Duties & Responsibilities

      Graphic Design:

      • Create high-quality and visually engaging graphics and visuals for weekend service experiences, social media content, campaigns, web design, and more.
      • Execute design and layout concepts that are clear and concise.
      • Support ministries and campuses with creative requests including signage, branding, and events.

      Brand Adherence:

      • Ensure all design materials adhere to the established brand guidelines of Milestone Church, maintaining consistency and professionalism across all platforms and campuses.

      Collaboration:

      • Work closely with the Communications team, other departments, and campuses to understand project requirements and effectively translate concepts into visually appealing designs.

      Feedback Loops:

      • Embrace feedback from team members and departments to continuously refine and improve designs and deliverables.

      Deadline Management:

      • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines.

      Professional Growth:

      • Continually study industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in graphic design to continuously enhance skills and stay relevant in the field.

      Qualifications, Education & Experience


      Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

      • Vibrant and mature Christian faith.
      • Goal-oriented with good administrative and relational skills.
      • Ability to work independently, monitor own work for quality and stay focused in a busy environment.
      • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
      • Reliable and dependable in attendance.
      • Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other departments to obtain information needed to complete tasks.
      • Experience with Adobe Software Products.
      • Full understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software.
      • MAC experience and basic Microsoft office applications.

      Education & Experience

      • 1+ years experience creating and designing marketing materials in a related field.
      • A Bachelor's degree, certificate, or college coursework in a related field is a plus.

      Physical Demands

      The physical demands may include: sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed to fulfill job duties and requirements.
